Team Communicate Applications Now Open!

GET IN QUICK – APPLICATIONS CLOSE FEB 2ND

Looking for a volunteering opportunity that comes with leadership experience, valuable training and works with your busy work and home life? We are inviting 12 people to make a bigger commitment than our usual 1 day volunteer slots by joining “Team Communicate”. In return, participants will receive meaningful training in skills that are vital to working within the environmental sector, along with networking opportunities to some of the best known national and regional environmental organisations.

WHAT IS THE PROGRAMME?

Team Communicate is a pilot programme run by Bristol Natural History Consortium, the charity who runs Festival of Nature. Team Communicate brings together different parts of our current volunteer programme and our national professional development conference “Communicate“. We are inviting 12 people to take a leadership role with our Festival of Nature volunteer team using cutting edge techniques derived from Communicate. Our regular Festival volunteering opportunities will still be available, with over 200 volunteer opportunities in spring and summer 2018 to get involved.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

As a minimum, we are looking for people who can commit to one evening a month throughout 2018 where you will receive training and help shape Bristol Natural History Consortium’s 2018 programme by contributing your existing skills and those you learn through the training we will provide. In return, we’ll ask you to take on a minimum of 20 hours of skilled volunteering during Festival of Nature 2018.
