As Bristol explores how we tackle our ecological and climate emergencies, the Making Connections Project brought together local community groups and researchers to share their environmental expertise and connections with nature.
Together we explored the theme of connecting with nature from different perspectives and lived experiences, using photography as a visual medium to share our stories and experiences.
The exhibition photographs were taken by community members from The Bristol Rainforest, Flourishing in St Pauls, Newtown Network and Newtown Nature Club, and researchers from the University of Bristol.
The project was a collaboration between Black Seeds Network and the Natural History Consortium. It was funded by UK Research and Innovation and the UK Science Festivals Network.
