Nature Away Day for Businesses | Festival of Nature 2024

Tuesday 4 June 2024

Be part of a unique outdoor team-building day for businesses during this year’s Festival of Nature.

Take your team out of the office for an away day this June to reconnect, align, and motivate in beautiful green spaces in and around Bristol.

It's widely acknowledged that spending time outdoors in nature is beneficial to health and wellbeing (as well as improving productivity!). Natural England and the NHS are collaborating on this pilot event, connecting businesses with Green Social Prescribing practitioners that offer inspiring outdoor sessions, as part of the Healthier with Nature programme.

Strengthen employee relationships, encourage creativity, and unwind as a team in some of Bristol’s nature spaces, whilst supporting your local community.

How it works

Your nature away-day will involve a morning session (10am-12noon) and lunch (12noon-1pm) at your first site, travel time (1-2pm), and an afternoon session (2-4pm) at your second site.

To take part, please book your places by calling 0117 325 2891 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5.30pm). You will need the following information to make your booking:

  • Your business name and address, and key contact info
  • Names, dietary requirements, and access needs of your team members that will be attending.
  • Your morning and afternoon activity choices from the options below.

Following the call, you will received an invoice and confirmation email with information about your day.

Group size:

We welcome groups of up to 6 people and individuals to sign-up. There will be up to 20 people taking part in each session.

All the activities will take place outdoors in nature. The sessions are all located within 30mins of Bristol city centre.

£25 per person, including lunch. 50% has been subsidised by the Healthier with Nature programme. An invoice will be emailed to you. Please note travel is not included.

You will need to arrange your own transport, which will include the journey between your first and second sessions.

What do I need to bring?

A confirmation email will be sent to you with the details of your day. It will include information about the location, activity details, and what you need to bring.
