Gardening for Wildlife at Sydney Gardens

Volunteer Day at Hillfields Community Garden

When: Saturday 18 June 10.30am ‐ 12pm

Join the Hillsfields Community Garden team for a morning of taking Action For Nature to maintain and expand the community garden. Get your hands dirty with some planting, digging, building, decorating. The session will run rain or shine so bring wet weather clothes and/or sun tan lotion. No tools needed and kids welcome!

Pesticides Workshops at Grow Wilder

Join us for one of two free workshops to discuss pesticide use on allotments and meet others interested in reducing or eliminating chemical use. Whether you are a beginner or experienced grower we would love for you to come along and share your experiences with reducing pesticide use. During the workshop we will: Learn about how chemical pesticides interact with the surrounding environment, share tips and techniques, collectively create a strategy for using chemical pesticide alternatives and share ideas.
