Festival of Nature 2024 – save the date!

The UK's largest celebration of the natural world returns to the West of England region this summer, Saturday 1st - Sunday 9th June.

At Festival of Nature 2024, we’re inviting you to TWO major, free city-centre events in Bristol and Bath!

  • Festival of Nature’s Wild Weekend at Millennium Square (Saturday 1st – Sunday 2nd June)
  • Festival of Nature’s Milsom Street takeover in Bath (Saturday 8th June)

Our 2024 mid-week programme (Monday 3rd – Friday 7th June) will offer ‘pay-what-you-can’ events including wildlife walks and talks, nature workshops, family activities, arts and crafts, film screenings, music and performances, behind-the-scenes opportunities, and much more.

This year’s festival will also include a ‘Community Day’ on Sunday 9th June at sites across the West of England. Residents and visitors can take action for nature during activities and opportunities led by community groups and local organisations, including wildflower planting, litter picking, wildlife recording, and more.

The full 2024 programme will be coming in the Spring - check back soon!

Interested in being part of our Community Day on 9 June?

Community Day is your day to celebrate the actions you and your community are taking for nature across the West of England. On Sunday 9 June 2024, put your community on the nature map by hosting an event or activity that showcases your local wildlife space and what it means to you.

To be part of Community Day, you simply need to organise an activity or event that your community can take part in on 9 June. Your group could organise anything: a litter pick, a wildflower planting session, nature talk or walk, building bird boxes or anything in-between! There’s no idea too big or small.
