City Nature Challenge, the worlds biggest global wildlife competition, is fast approaching! We are asking the citizens of Bath, Bristol and the surrounding towns and countryside to join the race by recording the wildlife you find over 27-30 April via a free mobile app. We’ll be competing with 60+ regions across the world to see who can see the most wildlife and all the sighting are recorded for conservation research! Will you join the race to put our wildlife on the map?
With so much interest and excitement building around City Nature Challenge, we urgently need extra volunteers to join our Basecamp teams at We The Curious (Bristol) and Central Library (Bath) as well as supporting new partner events.
Help visitors take part in the City Nature Challenge, downloading the app and discovering nature in the city as we BioBlitz the areas surrounding basecamp which have barely any wildlife data recorded – EVER!
Interest in nature preferable but no special skills needed. If you have a smartphone or tablet please download the free iNaturalist app and bring it along! Commit for as little as 2 hours shift with full briefing on the day.
