Vybarr Cregan-Reid

Professor Vybarr Cregan-Reid is an author, academic and broadcaster who has written widely on the subjects of literature, health, nature and the environment. His most recent book, Primate Change: How the World We Made is Remaking Us, asks how modern life is changing our bodies. It looks at everything from our indoor behaviours, our height, the size of our feet, the shape of our faces, to things like allergies and shortsightedness, all of which are strongly driven by our environment. Called ‘a work of remarkable scope’ by The Guardian, it traces our bodies’ responses to how we lived back millions of years to help us to understand the modern body.
