Pauline Kyalo is a Kenyan wildlife filmmaker who was an assistant producer for Wildlife Direct in Kenya before coming to the UK as part of a scholarship through Project Songbird, the BBC project committed to investing in developing production talent in places where the BBC frequently films. Pauline worked with Paula Kuhumbu (at Wildlife Direct) who inspired FF:W to take on the issue of extractive filmmaking, and will be able to talk about her experience of the UK wildlife filmmaking industry from the perspective of the Kenyan industry which the UK industry has arguable extracted most from.
