Patrick Devine-Wright is Professor in Human Geography at the University of Exeter and Director of the £6.25m ESRC-funded ACCESS network. His research on social dimensions of energy transitions has been ranked in the world’s top 1% of social science according to citation of publications each year since 2019. Keen to ensure that academic research is translated into real-world impacts, he was Chair of the Devon Net Zero Task Force and Lead Author on Climate Mitigation for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
