Lorna is a communications consultant working with businesses in travel, leisure and hospitality to promote and protect reputation, particularly during change, transformation and issues/crisis. Current clients include online travel agent, On the Beach and hotel asset management experts Michels & Taylor.

Lorna’s 17-year career in PR and communications has seen her work in leadership positions in Sydney, London and Manchester for brands including Hilton, Marriott and Trainline. Prior to setting up her independent consultancy, Surge Communications in 2019, Lorna was Head of Communications for Thomas Cook Airlines; she was a key member of the corporate affairs team that managed complex, intense media scrutiny when the iconic travel brand sadly collapsed in September 2019. Since founding Surge, Lorna has been commended as a national finalist for Independent Practitioner of the Year in the CIPR Excellence Awards.
