Day 2 – 2019 Year of Youth Environmental Action

10:15AM – 11:00AM
24th October
Lecture Hall | Clifton Pavilion

As part of the Government’s 25 Year Plan for the Environment, Defra and Step Up To Serve are creating an environment theme for the national #iwill Campaign in 2019 to help children and young people engage with nature and improve the environment. Delegates found out more about this initiative and how they can get involved in supporting green action by young people. Young people themselves reported back from the Communicate+ youth forum to share their ideas on how to reach out, inspire and encourage more young people to take action in 2019.
