Venue Accessibility Information

Day 1, Tuesday 14 November – M Shed, Bristol

There are level entrances into the M Shed. The conference will take place on the 2nd Floor of the venue, which has lift access.

There are accessible toilets on the ground floor and first floor of the building.

Passenger Drop-Off:

There is a road at the rear of M Shed for drop off and pick up (Museum Street).

Accessible Parking:

There are five designated accessible parking spaces at The Grove Car Park and three next to Brunel’s Buttery on the harbour.

There are also four accessible spaces at the Wapping Wharf car park behind M-shed, however this car park can get very busy.

Day 2, Wednesday 15 November – The Lowry, Manchester

The conference will take place in the Circle Bar and the Compass Room.

There is step-free access to The Lowry from the street. Please note that the ground floor features a slight incline.

There are lifts that enable access to all floors and with accessible toilets on each floor.

Passenger Drop-Off:

There is a passenger drop off point at the front of The Lowry, approximately 25-30 metres from the main entrance.

Parking:

The primary disabled parking facility for The Lowry is The Quayside car park. We recommend that Blue Badge holders enter The Quayside car park at the entrance near the mini-roundabout on the road. This carpark has 80 designated accessible parking bays available on every level of the car park. You can find more information at Quayside Media City on car parking.

Day 3, Thursday 16 November – Woburn House, London

Communicate will take place in Woburn Hall on the ground floor and in The Boardroom on the first floor.

Woburn House is accessible for visitors with restricted mobility, including wheelchair users. The Boardroom on the first floor is accessible via a wheelchair-accessible lift.

Parking:

To park, use the Disabled Blue Badge bay on Endsleigh Street cornering Tavistock square. Further disabled parking is located 12 minutes away on Whitfield Street.
