Changing Minds 2021: City Nature Challenge UK

Are you running a UK based City Nature Challenge event in 2021, looking for city collaborators, or just want to find out more about the programme?

The Natural History Consortium is hosting a free, half-day online conference following up from the popular “City Nature Challenge” session at Communicate 2020.

Whether you have taken part before or are completely new to the programme, join us and discover how you can get involved in this global citizen science project, meet partner organisations, and share ideas to co-create content.  We’ll be inviting expert environmental communicators and citizen science practitioners to share useful tips, tools and case studies so it’s also a great opportunity for free training and networking.

Take a look at the programme here.

In 2020, 10 city regions across the UK joined forces to activate a national community of almost 5,000 wildlife recorders during City Nature Challenge.  Recorders contributed an incredible 71,500 wildlife records to local and national databases, where they are used to inform conservation, management and research.

Discover how you can be part City Nature Challenge 2021, inspiring action for nature, on Friday 29th January 2021, 1-4.30pm, or join us for informal networking from 12.30pm.
