WANT TO SEE MORE COOL NATURE ACTIVITY IN BRISTOL?
What is the Bristol Nature Network?
Bristol Nature Network is a community of young people(18-30ish) who share a passion for nature! Their aim is to help others learn about the natural world, develop skills, meet other like-minded people, and find out about all the amazing activities happening across Bristol!
The network was started by Festival of Nature volunteers after the 2014 festival who were looking to branch out and create their own nature based activities beyond the standard volunteering opportunities with establish organisations. The online community has since grown to over 2,000 members on the Facebook group and events, including a monthly networking drinks, are currently organised by a voluntary committee all year round!
Why a relaunch?
BNN are mixing things up a little bit! They want to hear from wildlife enthusiasts (like you!) to see what amazing events and training sessions can be run in Bristol, encourage people to take a more active role in organising their own events and hear from you about what you would like to see. Festival of Nature team will be on hand to offer their top tips on how to take these ideas and make them happen.
Following a small briefing and networking session, there will be brainstorming on what you would like to see over the next year and how you can be involved. This event will be perfect for those of you who have not been to one of their events before, or those long standing members who would like to be more involved.
There is no booking required, but you can let them know your coming by clicking here
The Bristol Nature Network Relaunch will take place between 6-11pm(you don’t have to stay the whole time!) on the 5th September 2019.
