Add your BioBlitz to the national programme
BioBlitz events are being run up and down the country so we are working with event organisers all over the UK to bring all of this great activity together in one place.
Register Your BioBlitz on the National Calendar
By registering your event we will create a page on the BioBlitz National Calendar, and promote it through the BioBlitz UK social media channels.
Registering is easy, all you need to do is send an email to email@example.com with the 5 pieces of information below.
1. The start and end time and date of your event – e.g. 9:00am 15th June – 1:00pm 16th June
2. The name of your BioBlitz and location – e.g. BioBlitz at Green Park! (Central Bath)
3. A photo to promote your BioBlitz – please make this photo landscape and 300×200 pixels in size
5. A link to your event’s web page – e.g. www.bnhc.org.uk
Email the above information to firstname.lastname@example.org, we then will create a space on the BioBlitz calendar for your event, and start promoting your BioBlitz!
Frequently Asked Questions
I don’t have all of the details of my BioBlitz confirmed yet, can I update you as they become available?
Please feel free to update us as changes to your event take place.
I don’t have a web page! Can I still register my event?
Yes please do! All we need is a website of some description which will have the details of the event, this could be a Facebook event or Instagram account for your event. If you don’t have any of these, let us know in your email and we’ll create an event page for you.
What will our social media pages be used for? or We don’t have any social media for the event?
We will promote your event through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Your social media pages will make it easier for us to shout about your BioBlitz! If you don’t have any of these don’t worry we will promote your event anyway!
