Bristol Harbourside
The UK’s largest FREE natural history event celebrates its tenth anniversary this summer, as the Bristol Festival of Nature returns to the Harbourside on the weekend of the 15th and 16th June 2013.
Giving wildlife enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to explore, and enjoy the natural world in the heart of the city, the Festival brings together over 150 organisations for a programme of interactive activities, live entertainment, hands-on experiences, a market packed with local produce, and much more.
What’s more, to celebrate its tenth anniversary, the Festival will be launching Bristol99, giving everyone the chance to discover the natural world in their own neighbourhood. Kicking off with the Bristol BioBlitz at Kings Weston Estate on the 3rd and 4th May, and culminating in the Festival weekend, Bristol99 offers a packed programme of wildlife events across Bristol’s ninety-nine best sites for nature.
The Festival of Nature is proud to be part of Bristol's BIG Green Week and the British Ecological Society's Centenary Festival of Ecology
