BRISTOL FESTIVAL OF NATURE 2014
Harbourside Event 12th to 16th June
Local activities across the city April-October
The UK’s largest FREE natural history event celebrated its tenth anniversary in style this summer, and the Bristol Festival of Nature will be returning to the Harbourside for more wild times from 12th to the 16th June 2014 with an extended programme of activites.
Giving wildlife enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to explore, and enjoy the natural world in the heart of the city, the Festival brings together over 150 organisations for a programme of interactive activities, live entertainment, hands-on experiences, a market packed with local produce, and much more.
This year we will be going beyond the much-loved Harbourside event and bring the festival to a green space near you as we discover and explore Bristol's 99 best sites for nature. Called Bristol99, this packed programme of wildlife events across the city will give everyone the chance to discover the natural world in their own neighbourhood. Check the Bristol 99 blog to see what we got up to on our trial run last year, or find out what species we uncovered on iRecord.
